Seagull Lodge was formerly Western Suburbs Leagues Club Fishing Club. The building was established in 1964 and had been let by the Club for members of the Leagues Club and Fishing Club and their guests for nearly 50 years.
Seagull Lodge is a family operated business and we are still offering the Western Suburbs Leagues Fishing Club and all other Fishing, Sporting and Recreational Clubs in Australia and abroad the same clean, affordable holiday rental accommodation throughout the whole year.
We began operating as Seagull Lodge in 2013 and are continuing to renovate and improve facilities. Feedback always welcome.
are measured in memories
Culburra Beach is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours drive from Sydney or Canberra.
This laid back, seaside town is well serviced by shops (including Woolworths), takeaways and restaurants and is surrounded by water: the fisherman friendly Crookhaven River and Curley's Bay to the north and west; the child and dog friendly, long, sheltered, bay-style Culburra Beach and famous Warrain Beach for surfers to the east (both patrolled during the summer holidays); and Lake Wollumboola for nature lovers to the south.
Enjoy the nearby beaches, sheltered or surf and lake with beautiful views, find your favourite view of the lake, river or sea (don't forget your camera) - spot dolphins and whales! Bring your push bikes - Culburra is mostly flat and easy to get around by bike, we have enough room for bike storage. Go bird watching on the lake and river foreshores. Beautiful walks at sunset right across the road from the Lodge.
Discover a variety of shops and restaurants in the centre of town and visit our local Bowling Club (courtesy bus available weekends). Learn to surf or wander the river mud flats at low tide and marvel at the scurrying crabs.
Bring your boat, we have plenty of room for parking - go sailing or go fishing. Sporting Fields and Tennis Courts are only walking distance away OR....
just relax, we have the perfect place for being together & sharing precious time
